Four Chemicals Found to be Toxic and Carcinogenic
A recent study has revealed that four common chemicals – chloroform, bromoform, bromodichloromethane and dichlorobromomethane – are toxic and carcinogenic. The NIEHS recommends further research into their long-term effects on humans while the EPA is taking steps to regulate their use more strictly in order to protect public health.
