Local Non-Profit Hosts 'Some Nights' Fundraiser

The local non-profit organization, Some Nights, is hosting a fundraiser to benefit their cause. The event will take place on Saturday, June 15th at the downtown park. It will feature live music, food trucks, and a silent auction with items donated by local businesses. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping those in need in the community. The mission of Some Nights is to provide assistance to those who are struggling financially or otherwise due to unforeseen circumstances such as job loss or medical bills. They strive to make sure that no one has to go without basic necessities like food and shelter during times of hardship. The organization also provides emotional support for individuals and families affected by difficult situations. Organizers of the event hope that it will bring attention to their cause and help them raise enough money to continue providing aid for those in need throughout the year. “We want people to come out and enjoy themselves while supporting a great cause," said volunteer coordinator Kelly Johnson. "This is an opportunity for everyone in our community to come together and make a difference." The event will begin at 5pm with live music from local bands followed by dinner provided by various food trucks starting at 7pm. A silent auction featuring items donated by businesses around town will be held throughout the evening as well as raffle prizes for attendees who purchase tickets ahead of time online or at the door on the day of the event. Some Nights hopes that this fundraiser will be successful so they can continue providing assistance and support for members of their community who are facing difficult times due to financial struggles or other issues beyond their control.
