Prime Minister Announces National Government’s Founding Principles

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced the founding principles of the new national government. The Jewish people are to have exclusive and irrevocable rights to settle in all parts of Israel, including the Galilee, Negev, Golan Heights, Judea and Samaria. The Prime Minister stated that this government will promote and develop settlement in all parts of Israel. He emphasized that this is a fundamental principle for any nation-state; a state must be able to provide its citizens with security and stability in order to ensure their prosperity. Netanyahu further explained that this is not only an issue of national security but also an issue of justice. He said that it is essential for any democracy to ensure that all citizens have equal access to resources regardless of where they live or who they are. The Prime Minister concluded his statement by saying that these principles will be at the core of the new government’s policies and actions. He said that he hopes this government will bring peace and prosperity to all citizens of Israel regardless of their background or beliefs.
