AI Creates Children’s Book with Human Assistance

This past weekend, a new children’s book was published, and it has an interesting twist – it was co-written and illustrated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools! The book, titled “The Adventures of Tumbleweed and Friends”, is the result of a creative collaboration between AI tools ChatGPT, MidJourney, and other AI tools. The project was started by AI enthusiast David Silverman who wanted to see what kind of story he could create using these tools. He began by using ChatGPT to generate the initial story idea. Then he used MidJourney to create characters for the story. Finally, he used various other AI tools to help him write the story and create illustrations for it. After several days of hard work, Silverman had completed his project – a fully realized children’s book written and illustrated entirely with the help of AI! Silverman says that this project was both challenging and rewarding. “I learned so much about how these different AI tools can be used together in creative ways," he said. "It was really exciting to see how all these pieces came together into something that I think is actually quite good!" The book is now available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle formats. It has already received positive reviews from readers who have been impressed with its unique approach to storytelling.
