"Avatar" Franchise to Return in 2025 with New Opening Line

It's been six years since the last installment of the Avatar franchise, and fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a new movie. Now, it appears that their wait is over. In an announcement made earlier today, 20th Century Fox has confirmed that they will be releasing a new Avatar movie in 2025, complete with a brand-new opening line. The opening line for the upcoming film is sure to become iconic; “Fire. Air. Water. Earth” is expected to become as memorable as its predecessor’s “I see you” catchphrase. The phrase is believed to refer to the four elements which make up Pandora, the alien world where much of the Avatar story takes place. Fans are already speculating about what this phrase could mean for the plot of the upcoming movie and what kind of adventures our heroes may embark on this time around. In addition to confirming a release date for Avatar 2 (as it's currently being referred to), 20th Century Fox also revealed some details about who will be involved in bringing this project to life once again. James Cameron will return as director and writer, while Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington are set to reprise their roles as Neytiri and Jake Sully respectively. Other cast members from previous films are also expected to make appearances throughout the series' latest installment(s). 2025 can't come soon enough for eager fans who have been waiting patiently for another chance at exploring Pandora through Cameron's visionary lens.
