The zoo is closed today, A serious situation at play. Animals are not on display, No one to come and see them play. Lions no longer roar, Monkeys no longer explore. Elephants stand in silence still, Birds can't take flight from their hill. Kangaroos are kept inside, Giraffes have nowhere to hide. Snakes slither around unseen, Tigers can't be heard by anyone. Penguins swim without a sound, Wolves wander around without a crowd. Crocodiles remain in the sun, Without anyone to watch them run. Otters swim in circles round and round, Without any laughter or sound of a hound. Polar bears just lie there still, With no one there to watch their skill. The zoo is closed today due to this fate, No visitors here with smiles on their face. The animals will stay inside until then; When the zoo opens again!
