The Timing of Love: Don't Hesitate, Attack!

Love is all about timing. When you’re agonizing over when to ask someone out on a date or how to make the call, it can be too late before you know it and the person you like has already been taken. But if you’re hesitating and don’t know what to do, why not just go for it? After all, your reason can simply be “I think we would get along great.” It can be hard to find the courage to take that first step in a relationship, especially when there are so many uncertainties involved. What if they don’t feel the same way? What if they say no? It takes guts to put yourself out there and risk rejection. But as the saying goes, nothing ventured nothing gained. If you want something badly enough, sometimes taking action is the only way forward. If you wait too long or hesitate too much then opportunities may pass by and never come back again. And even if things don’t work out with this particular person, at least you will have tried your best and won’t regret not doing anything at all. It also helps to remember that relationships are two-way streets; both parties need to be interested in each other for it to work out in the end. So while asking someone out might seem intimidating at first glance, it could very well turn into something beautiful down the line – provided both of you are willing give it a chance!
