National Prayer Breakfast Unites Friends and Colleagues in Prayer

This morning, friends and colleagues gathered at the National Prayer Breakfast to lift up one another and our nation in prayer. The event was held at the Washington Hilton, with President Donald Trump as the keynote speaker. The event was hosted by members of Congress, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Other notable attendees included Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. In his remarks, President Trump spoke about how faith has been a source of strength for many Americans during difficult times. He praised those who have turned to prayer during the pandemic and thanked them for their courage in the face of adversity. He also encouraged everyone to continue praying for healing and peace in our country. The National Prayer Breakfast is an annual event that has been held since 1953. It is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together in prayer for our nation’s future. This year’s theme was “God’s Love Endures Forever” which served as a reminder that no matter what challenges we face, God’s love never fails us or forsakes us. At the end of his speech, President Trump expressed his gratitude for being able to join friends and colleagues at this special event.
