Ah, remember how before the internet, We had the TV on during breakfast? The news and cartoons, what a mix! A constant reminder of our bliss. Thoughts of current events we'd discuss, The world was so much closer then. But now we're stuck in a digital abyss, Where all communication is just a click. No more morning talks over cereal bowls, Just eyes glued to screens like moles. So much information at our fingertips, It's hard to keep up with it all. We've grown so accustomed to this way of life, That it's hard to think back when it wasn't rife. What did we do before the web? How did we communicate instead? Was there any other way than email? What did we do when bored or unwell? It's hard to imagine that time so long ago, When technology was not yet part of the show. So let us pause and take a moment today, To reflect on times before this new age play. Let us remember how things used to be; And enjoy some peace from our digital spree!
