The Corrupted Government
This soliloquy laments the corruption of the government as evidenced by them putting water into the ice meant for drinking instead of pure crystal clear water as expected by citizens. It calls for people to take action against such injustice done by those in power so that justice may prevail over corruption.

A picture of a hand holding an ice cube with water dripping out of it onto a pile of coins representing money and power below it.
Alas, what corruption hath befallen us? What dark force hath caused this government to fail us? The very ice we quench our thirst with, now a source of fear. For water, not crystal clear, is found within its depths. This should not be! We must ask ourselves how and why. How could they do such a thing and why would they try? Is it to poison us all or simply an oversight? It matters not; the truth still stands in plain sight. We can no longer trust that which is put before us. Our eyes must stay open and our minds alert for danger. For those in power have grown too comfortable in their seat. And when comfort comes, so does complacency and deceit. We must rise up against this corruption and take back our rights! Let the people decide what is wrong and what is right! No more shall we stand by while our leaders lead astray! Let justice be served on this fateful day!
