Beta Male Pronunciation Blues

This poem reflects on the confusion caused by two different Twitter users pronouncing "beta male" differently. It expresses frustration at not knowing which one is correct and being unable to find an answer from either user.

A cartoon image of two people arguing over how to pronounce "beta male". One person has a speech bubble saying "with a hard 't'" while the other person has a speech bubble saying "with a soft 'd'".

I h8 twitter and the confusion it brings, Now I don't know how to pronounce beta male things. Nick Adams says one way, Jesse Lee Peterson another, It's enough to make me want to pull out my hair and smother. One pronounces it with a hard 't', the other with a soft 'd', I'm so lost in this debate that I can't even see the head. Nick AdamsinUSA thinks he knows best, but JLPtalk disagrees, What should I do when these two battle? All I can do is freeze. The pronunciation war has left me feeling blue, I'm not sure which one is right or who should get their due. Twitter won't give me an answer and neither will they, So all I can do is sit here until my mind goes astray. Beta male has become a confusing word for me to say, Should I listen to Nick Adams or Jesse Lee Peterson today?
