Life is a journey of self-discovery, and for me, it was these five genres that helped me find my way. From cannabis to social media, from overseas travel to English language learning, and finally marketing – each one has had a profound impact on who I am today. Cannabis was the first genre to have an influence on my life. Growing up in a small town in the Midwest, I was exposed to marijuana at an early age. Although it wasn’t legal yet, I found solace in its calming effects and began using it as a form of self-medication. It allowed me to explore new ideas and think outside the box without fear of judgement or criticism. As legalization spread across the country, so did my appreciation for cannabis and its potential benefits. Social media came next, providing me with an outlet to express myself and connect with people around the world. Through platforms like Twitter and Instagram, I discovered new interests such as photography and design that eventually led me down a path towards entrepreneurship. It also gave me access to valuable resources like online courses that helped shape my understanding of business principles and strategies. The third genre that changed my life was travel abroad – specifically studying abroad in Japan during college. This experience opened up my eyes to different cultures and customs while also teaching me invaluable lessons about independence and resilience. Living in another country also improved my communication skills by forcing me out of my comfort zone when speaking Japanese with locals or other international students from around the world. Learning English was another major turning point for me; being able to communicate fluently in this language gave me more opportunities both professionally and personally than ever before. Not only did it help bridge cultural divides but it also made writing easier which eventually became one of my passions later on in life when blogging about various topics related to personal growth or lifestyle design became part of my daily routine.. Finally, marketing played a huge role in helping shape who I am today by giving me an understanding of how businesses work as well as how best to reach their target audiences through creative campaigns or content creation initiatives online.. By mastering this skill set over time through trial-and-error experimentation (as well as reading lots of books!), I’ve been able to build successful businesses from scratch while still having fun along the way!
