I am a Black queer non-binary person, Who came to Princeton with great ambition. My goal was to create a more just and equitable playing field for all, But the work environment was far too hard and I had no support at all. The stress became too much for me to bear, And soon enough I found myself in hospital care. I felt alone and scared, with no one by my side, It seemed like no one wanted me to succeed or even tried. But I refused to give up on my dreams so easily, For I knew that justice and equity were worth fighting for endlessly. So I kept going despite the odds against me, And now here I stand ready to make history!
