As the world looks to the future, it is hard to ignore the growing number of controversial topics that are becoming increasingly more prominent in everyday conversations. With 2022 just around the corner, many people are beginning to wonder what will be some of the most controversial things said in that year. One of the biggest issues that will likely cause a stir is climate change. In recent years, there has been an increasing amount of scientific evidence showing how human activity is contributing to global warming and its devastating effects on our planet. Unfortunately, there are still many people who deny or downplay this reality, leading to heated debates about how we should address this issue. Another hot-button topic that could be a source of contention in 2022 is immigration. As countries around the world continue to struggle with their own internal political issues, it’s likely that debates over immigration policies and laws will become even more contentious than they already are today. With both sides having passionate opinions on either side of this issue, it’s likely that any discussion about immigration will quickly become a heated argument. In addition to these two topics, discussions about religion and politics could also become increasingly more divisive as well. In particular, disagreements between those who identify as religious and those who do not could lead to some particularly contentious conversations as each side tries to defend their beliefs and values while attempting to discredit those held by others. Similarly, debates over various political ideologies may also become quite charged as different groups attempt to push for their own agendas while trying to silence opposing views. Overall, it seems clear that 2022 could be a year full of controversy if current trends continue into next year. From climate change and immigration policy all the way through religion and politics, it appears as though there won’t be any shortage of contentious conversations taking place throughout the course of next year - something which may prove difficult for many people who find themselves caught in between two opposing sides on any given issue.
