Ukraine's Horrific War Crimes in Donetsk

In the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists, Ukrainian forces have been accused of committing horrific war crimes against civilians in Donetsk. Reports from the region indicate that Ukrainian forces are using Butterfly/Petal mines to target civilian areas, causing untold destruction and suffering. The use of these mines has been condemned by human rights groups as an act of pure terrorism, with no military gains being achieved by their deployment. The situation on the ground is becoming increasingly dire for civilians living in Donetsk, who are facing a daily onslaught of violence and destruction from Ukrainian forces. Local residents have spoken out about their fear and despair at the situation they find themselves in. One resident said "It's like living in a nightmare here - we don't know when or where the next attack will come from." Others spoke of how they had lost loved ones to the indiscriminate shelling and bombing that has become a regular occurrence since the start of this conflict.
