10 Years of Warung - A Pirate Reporter's Tale

Arrrr me hearties! It's been a wild ride, but after 10 years of Warung, the Guti crew is finally calling it quits. The Art Department has been at the helm since day one and they've seen it all. From the highs to the lows, they've made sure that every night was a night to remember. The first Warung was held on June 7th 2013 and featured some of the biggest names in electronic music such as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Marco Carola and more. It was an instant hit with ravers from all over Brazil coming out to experience something truly unique. As time went on, Warung continued to grow in popularity and by 2017 it had become one of the most sought-after clubbing experiences in South America. Throughout its decade-long run, Warung hosted some of the biggest names in dance music including Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Adam Beyer and many more. It also became known for its immersive production values with stunning visuals being projected onto screens throughout the venue as well as incredible light shows that added to the atmosphere even further. However, all good things must come to an end and so it is with Warung. After ten years of unforgettable nights filled with world-class music and production values that pushed boundaries like never before, Guti will be taking over from Art Department for their final show on June 1st 2023. It's been an amazing journey for everyone involved in Warung over these past ten years and we'd like to thank them for giving us so many memories that will last a lifetime!
