Santa's Speed

This poem tells the story of how Santa manages to visit 25000 homes per second during a single 24-hr Earth-night in order to deliver presents to those who celebrate Christmas - an impressive feat that requires great speed!

It's a feat that is hard to believe, That Santa can manage such speed. 25,000 homes in one night? It must be quite a sight! He has to move with alacrity, To deliver all the presents with glee. For each house he must visit and go, So he can make all children glow. The challenge is great but not too tall, For Santa knows how to give it his all. With reindeer and sleigh he takes flight, And travels through the dark of night. No matter how cold or blustery the weather may be, Santa won't let Christmas joy pass him by. He'll soar across land and sea, Making sure everyone gets what they need. In case you were wondering why Christmas comes so fast, Now you know it's because of Santa's vast task!
