To add to this, they sent thousands of students to our schools and are using Tik Toc to hypnotize and gather data from Americans. These developments have left many wondering if China is trying to gain control over the US without us even realizing it. The question now is whether or not these actions constitute a threat to our nation’s security. While some argue that these are simply business decisions on China’s part, others worry that there may be more sinister motives behind them. For example, the fact that we did not shoot down their spy balloon could indicate that we are too afraid of retaliation from China to stand up for ourselves. Additionally, their purchase of land near air bases could be seen as an attempt at gaining access to sensitive information or military secrets.
