Havergal College Welcomes Back Gr 9 Students with Innovative PBL Course

The start of the new year brings a unique opportunity for Havergal College’s Grade 9 students. This year, the school is introducing a brand-new project-based learning (PBL) course, TC-9, created by HC-X, the college’s Innovation Hub. This innovative course will address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Havergal College is dedicated to providing its students with an education that goes beyond traditional teaching methods. Through TC-9, students will have the chance to work on projects that focus on global issues and apply their knowledge in real world settings. The college has partnered with local organizations and businesses to provide students with hands-on experience in tackling challenges related to SDGs such as poverty reduction and environmental protection. TC-9 is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills while also fostering creativity and collaboration. Through this course, they will be able to explore different perspectives on global issues and develop strategies for addressing them. In addition, they will gain valuable insights into how these issues are being addressed around the world. Havergal College believes that this innovative approach to learning can have a positive impact on its student body. By providing them with an opportunity to engage in meaningful projects related to global challenges, it hopes that they will become more aware of their role in creating a better future for all of us.
