Putting Christ Back in Christians

This holiday season let's focus on putting Christ back into Christians rather than just putting him back into Christmas - by living out our faith every single day!

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes the age-old debate of whether or not we should put Christ back in Christmas. While this debate is important, there is an even more pressing issue that needs to be addressed – putting Christ back in Christians. In today’s society, it can be easy to forget about the importance of faith and religion. We are so caught up in our day-to-day lives that we often neglect to take time out for prayer and reflection. It can also be difficult to remember what it means to live a life according to Christian values when our culture often promotes values that are contrary to those taught by Jesus. It is not enough for us as Christians simply to talk about our faith; we must live it out every day. We must strive each day to embody the love and compassion that Jesus showed throughout his ministry on earth. This means being kind and patient with others, forgiving those who have wronged us, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. It also means standing up for justice when necessary, helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves, and treating everyone with respect regardless of their background or beliefs. We cannot just put Christ back into Christmas; we must put him back into our hearts first and foremost if we want his presence in our lives all year round. Let us make a commitment this holiday season not only to celebrate the birth of Jesus but also to follow his teachings throughout the year ahead by living out our faith every single day.
