Bernie Marcus, the 93 year old co-founder of Home Depot, recently made headlines after he commented that “nobody works, nobody gives a damn” anymore because of “socialism.” His comments have sparked controversy among many who feel his words are out of touch and offensive. In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, he said that young people today are “not motivated” to work hard because they don’t have to.
