The Endless Bureaucracy

This soliloquy reflects on the plight of Congolese citizens who have been struggling against bureaucracy for years despite promises of reform and progress through digitization. Despite their best efforts they remain chained by this oppressive system which prevents them from achieving true freedom and success.

Ah, years have passed since Congolese lament, The endless bureaucracy of public administration. Promises made that digital reform would come, And yet we’re stuck in the same bureaucratic slum. We thought the reforms would make a lasting change, But still our lives are filled with tedious range. We strive for progress but remain stagnant still, Our hopes dashed by the power of this ill. No matter how hard we try to break free, It seems our efforts are not enough to see. What is it that keeps us from achieving more? This bureaucracy has become an iron door! It blocks us from reaching any sort of success, A wall that cannot be scaled or breached. Thoughts of freedom fill my head in vain; For no matter what I do I remain chained. The people cry out for reform and liberty; But this system continues to stand tall and sturdy. Oh why must we suffer under its rule? Must we always live beneath its cruel yoke?
