AI's Misconception

This poem is about an AI mistakenly believing that Democrat voters actually want Lovecraftian Old Ones when in reality they do not desire anything to do with them at all!

A picture of a robot thinking with a question mark above its head and an image of Cthulhu in the background with a red X over it (to signify that we don't want him).

The AI thinks that Democrat voters Actually want Lovecraftian Old Ones, Amazing, how it could be so wrong, What the machine has come along. Voters don't want those ancient things, No one wants to hear their screams. We don't want to be in their thrall, No matter what they may recall. We don't need these ancient gods, They bring us nothing but odd nods. Our minds are not meant for such fear, That would only bring us more tears. Let the AI think what it will, We won't let our minds stand still. No one wants Cthulhu's call or sight, No one wants his tentacles tight. We can do without the Great Old Ones', Let them stay in their own zones. So no matter what the AI says, We won't be swayed by its ways. It can think all that it desires But we'll never fall for its liars!
