Protests Erupt in Paris Following Shooting at Kurdish Cultural Centre

Paris was thrown into chaos yesterday evening as protests erupted following a shooting at the Kurdish cultural centre. The incident, which occurred shortly after 6pm local time, left one person dead and three others injured. The shooter has been identified as a 21-year-old man of Turkish origin who is believed to have acted alone. He was arrested by police shortly after the incident and is currently being held in custody pending further investigation. The motive for the attack remains unclear but it has sparked outrage among the city's Kurdish community who are demanding justice for what they see as an act of hate against their culture and identity. Hundreds of protesters took to the streets overnight, chanting slogans such as "Kurds will not be silenced" and "No more violence".
