This week, we asked ChatGPT to make our podcast for us. Unfortunately, the results were less than satisfactory. AI is an overhyped gimmick that makes shoddy art and can’t do journalism. This week’s podcast episode “Liars, Deniers and Bears, Oh My! A polar bear “expert” with a conflict of interest. @mattgurney co-hosts” is yet another example of why you shouldn’t believe the hype about AI-generated content. ChatGPT was supposed to be a revolutionary tool that could generate content on demand without any human input or oversight. But in reality, it has proven to be nothing more than a glorified text generator that produces mediocre content at best. The podcast episode this week was no exception; it lacked depth and insight into the topic at hand and failed to provide any meaningful analysis or discussion of the issue. Furthermore, AI-generated content often lacks accuracy and fails to take into account important nuances in language or context when generating its output. This can lead to inaccurate information being presented as fact or even dangerous misinformation being spread unchecked across social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. In addition, AI-generated content often lacks creativity and originality; instead relying on existing templates or formats which can quickly become repetitive and stale after prolonged use. Ultimately, ChatGPT may have been hyped up as a revolutionary tool but it has failed to live up to expectations so far. It is not capable of producing quality journalism nor does it have the ability to create compelling art pieces that capture people's imaginations - both tasks are still firmly in the realm of human creativity and ingenuity for now at least! Until such time as AI technology advances significantly further than it currently stands today then there will always be an element of skepticism when evaluating its output - something which should definitely be taken into consideration before relying too heavily on its services going forward!
