It’s official! The beloved Disney Channel animated series, ‘Phineas and Ferb’, is coming back for a revival. After a nine-year hiatus, the show has been ordered for 40 new episodes that will air on Disney+ sometime in 2021. The original series ran from 2007 to 2015 and was created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh. It followed two stepbrothers as they set out to have the best summer ever by creating wild inventions and embarking on outrageous adventures. The show also featured their sister Candace, who constantly tried to get them in trouble with their mom; Perry the Platypus (aka Agent P), a secret agent who battles Dr. Doofenshmirtz; Buford Van Stomm, Baljeet Tjinder, Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, Major Monogram and more. The new season will be produced by Disney Television Animation and executive produced by Povenmire and Marsh alongside Josh Weinstein (Gravity Falls). The series will feature returning voice actors Vincent Martella (Phineas Flynn), Ashley Tisdale (Candace Flynn), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Ferb Fletcher) along with other fan favorites like Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus/Agent P., Dan Povenmire as Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Major Monogram, Alyson Stoner as Isabella Garcia-Shapiro among others.
