MIT PhD Inventor of Email Applies for CEO Position at Twitter

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, the inventor of email, has recently applied for the CEO position at Twitter. Dr. Ayyadurai holds four degrees from MIT and has created seven successful high-tech software companies. He made his application public on Twitter by sending a direct message to Elon Musk, asking him to advise him on the process to apply for the job. Dr. Ayyadurai is best known as the inventor of email in 1978 while he was still a 14-year-old student at Livingston High School in New Jersey. He went on to earn four degrees from MIT including a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Visual Studies, and two Doctorates - one in Biological Engineering and another in Systems Biology & Bioengineering. In addition to inventing email, Dr. Ayyadurai has also founded seven successful high-tech software companies which have developed innovative solutions for healthcare, biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain technology and other areas of research and development (R&D). His most recent venture is CytoSolve Inc., an AI platform that helps scientists accelerate drug discovery by leveraging large datasets with advanced machine learning algorithms. Given his impressive credentials as an innovator and entrepreneur with experience leading complex R&D projects across multiple industries, it's no surprise that Dr. Ayyadurai is now interested in taking on the role of CEO at Twitter - one of the world's largest social media platforms with over 330 million monthly active users worldwide. It remains to be seen if he will get the job but it's clear that he is more than qualified for it given his impressive background as an inventor and entrepreneur.
