Rohit Shetty's Cirkus Fails to Impress

Fans of the acclaimed director Rohit Shetty were disappointed by his latest release, Cirkus. The movie was released on January 22nd and received a two-star rating from critics. The movie stars Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma and Johnny Lever in lead roles. Despite having an all-star cast, the movie failed to impress viewers. Many felt that it lacked the entertainment and humour that is usually associated with a Rohit Shetty film. One viewer said, “I had high expectations for this movie but it didn’t live up to them at all. It was outdated and just not funny enough for me.” Another viewer added, “It had some funny moments in the second half but overall it was quite dull and uninteresting.” Despite its poor reception from viewers, Cirkus still managed to make over Rs 10 crore on its opening day in India alone. However, many feel that this could be attributed more to fans' loyalty towards Rohit Shetty than the actual quality of the film itself. Overall, it seems like Cirkus has failed to meet viewers' expectations and may not be remembered as one of Rohit Shetty's best works.
