Furry Aliens

This poem explores the idea of what it would be like if aliens looked like furry animals such as kittens and puppies instead of humanoid creatures - perhaps even with intentions of world domination!

The majority of Earthlings are furry and cute, So why do we expect aliens to be so crude? What if they look like kittens and puppies intent on world domination? Would that not be a strange sensation? Maybe their fur is different from ours, But still soft enough to pet for hours. Perhaps their eyes have multiple hues, And they can fly around in blues. Maybe they come from far away stars, Where the sky is full of bizarre cars. They could be small or large in size, Or even able to take any disguise. Their language could sound like chirps and tweets, Or maybe they talk through telepathic feats. Perhaps they communicate with each other through purrs and meows, And when you look at them you'd feel a gentle glow. They might have tails that reach the floor, And an appetite for something more. What if these aliens wanted us to join them in their mission? To explore the universe with newfound ambition? Maybe then we'd see how wrong we were before, That these aliens weren't something to fear but adore!
