Three Days Until Carnival and Social Battery is Already Drained

With only three days until Carnival, the streets of Brazil are alive with anticipation. But for one group of revelers, their enthusiasm has already been drained. The “Bateria Social”, a group of friends who have come together to celebrate the holiday with music and dance, have found themselves in a tough spot. After months of preparation and rehearsals, they’ve realized that their social battery has run out just before the big day. The Bateria Social was founded by Paulo Santos and his friends over five years ago as a way to bring people together through music and dance. Since then, it has grown into a beloved tradition among locals and tourists alike. This year was no different; Santos had planned an ambitious show featuring traditional Brazilian samba music as well as some modern beats from around the world. He had even secured a few special guests to join them on stage for an unforgettable performance. But despite all their hard work, it seems that fate had other plans for them this year. With only three days left until Carnival begins, Santos’s social battery is empty; he simply doesn’t have enough energy or resources to make it happen this time around. “It’s heartbreaking because we put so much effort into this project every year but now it looks like we won’t be able to do anything at all," he said in an interview with local news outlets. "We were really looking forward to making this year extra special but unfortunately that won't be possible." Though they may not be able to perform this year, Santos still hopes that his group can come back stronger than ever next year when Carnival rolls around again. In the meantime, he encourages everyone else celebrating Carnival to make sure they take care of themselves so they don't end up in the same situation as him and his friends - drained before the party even starts!
